Helen is thrilled to join the firm as President and Senior Managing Partner.  She is looking forward to applying her strategic thinking and deep understanding of business problems to FeltonBuford’s clients. Helen has a wide variety of experience and interests; at heart she is an entrepreneur, advisor, and teacher.  Whether building her own companies, advising others on how to grow, or developing young talent, she always gives the maximum effort, attention and passion to everything she touches.  At the start of her career as a brand marketer at Procter & Gamble, she applied her interest in understanding people with her analytical side to formulate strong marketing strategies.  She later continued her career as Chief Marketing Officer of a high-end food retailer, and eventually turned to client management roles in a shopper analytics firm as well as at a Boston-based growth strategy consulting firm.  Helen has also applied her interest in developing youth to serving as a University of Cincinnati Adjunct Professor.  In addition, Helen and her husband Calvin have invested in a number of companies, helping to build them into thriving organizations.  Throughout her entire career, understanding people (how they behave, what motivates them) has been an important foundational cornerstone.

Like her partner Hope, Helen also has a strong record of community service.  She has served on numerous arts and social services Boards, mentored and tutored young children as part of an international women’s service organization, and participated with other community leaders in working on issues facing Greater Cincinnati as part of the Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Cincinnati.  Finally, she loves to read, travel, and has a deep love of music – in addition to playing piano since the age of 7, she has sung in a community chorus for the past 10 years.
